Upward Stretching and Twisting
As you raise your hands above your head, clasp them (if you can) and stretch as far as you can reach. Lean to each side several times. Then turn your spine to the right and then to the left.
This exercise will open all the joints, from the toes to the head and finger tips. It will also stretch the fascia of the body, causing it to retain its elasticity. The movement lifts all the organs, guides them to a natural location, and the diaphragms of the torso are strengthened.
As the tendons, joints, fascia, and organs settle back in after the movement, they are in a healthier place. With daily practice, this simple exercise can rejuvenate the body by bringing it back to a more natural place, more consistently. Try it when you wake up and before you go to bed. When you stand up and before you sit down.
