Taoist World View
Taoists practice a close observation of the patterns within the natural world and how they ebb and flow. Through this practice, they notice how these patterns are present in the human body, as well as the natural world.
Taoist practice is based on aligning with these natural patterns of change. By aligning with these patterns, one comes to learn more of the source of these patterns. They call it the Tao, or the Way of Nature; but really it doesn’t have a name. It is the unity of energy out of which nature emerged.
As this practice progresses, thoughts, words, and actions will increasing produce health and happiness. These benefits will begin for yourself and extend to your family, society, world and beyond.
