Bring Awareness to the Navel

“Use the mind and gentle breathing to amplify the pulse at the spot of the lower abdomen. The aorta and vena cava pass through this area; they are the biggest circulatory pumps outside of the heart.

“The pulse is like a step-up transformer. When this pulse is activated and amplified, the heart does not have to work as hard, and the whole body benefits. Gathering the energy there also increases the flow of Chi and lymph.

“Gently press the fingers into the abdo- men about an inch to the left and slightly above the navel; you will feel the pulsing of the aorta and vena cava. If you can actually feel the pulsing there, it will be very helpful.”
