Blending the Energies of Nature
Taoist astrology states that each of us has a particular, individual disposition based on the time and place that we were born. Like the phases of the moons pull the oceans, the planets push and pull on us in different ways at different times of our lives. We have free will choices when faced with opportunities and threats from these fates, but ultimately we have to play the card we are dealt.
Taoist inner alchemy provides an opportunity to work with these forces intentionally. By inviting energy from all of the planets and seasons into our bodies and meditation processes, it adds to our deficiencies and softens our excesses to move us toward balance.
Similarly, inviting the energies from the range of planetary and stellar energies into the body, mixing them with our individual essence, and storing that energy in our organs and bones gives us opportunities to heal and become more like the totalities of nature.
