Staying Hydrated
The large intestine will steal water from every other organ in your body to carry out its function, which is elimination. Another habit to maintain a healthy body and mind is to drink enough water each day. This may be four, six, or eight glasses per day, depending on your weight, diet, age, and other factors.
The large intestine will steal water from your brain, skin, muscles, tendons, etc. When we don’t drink enough water, we can’t eliminate waste properly and many other functions suffer. We have to drink enough water for proper functioning of your large intestine. If our large intestine doesn’t function properly, it’s like a trashcan that never gets emptied.
We just keep eating and eating, and if you’re not properly eliminating, then we suffer from autointoxication. This means that all the toxins in the large intestine go right back into your bloodstream because they’re not eliminating quickly enough. Practice drinking extra water for a few days in a row and monitor this result in your waste elimination processes.
The hours of the large intestine are from 7 am – 9 am and that’s a great time to drink your morning water and enjoy your morning bowel movement. Elimination shouldn’t be a struggle or painful and it shouldn’t be a rare part of the day. It can be a process that happens like clockwork and adequate water is the first step.
